During the recent World Economic Forum meeting in Davos, Switzerland, the state of Telangana has successfully attracted a large amount of investments, totaling to 21,000 crore rupees, despite the current global economic downturn. The state government led by KTR showcased Telangana as a global investment destination and gateway to India, and were able to attract investments from major companies such as Microsoft, Bharti Airtel, Eurofins, PepsiCo, P&G, Allox, Appollo Tyres Ltd, WebPT, and Inspire Brands. These investments are expected to create more jobs and contribute to the growth of the state. The WEF also announced that they will establish their first India center in Hyderabad, focused on healthcare and life sciences.
